Don't you just love a skirt that is a statement all by itself? This pastel striped beauty is just that!
I kept it super simple and low key with a classic, easy white tank. This outfit is just perfect for those "on the go all day" kind of days. Did I mention that this skirt has pockets!? As the temps heat up, loose skirts and dresses are a favorite.
Before we had kids, I was an elementary school teacher. Big, class creative projects were a blast! Nowadays with all the standardized testing, those creative project times are more limited. I always get so excited when our kids come home explaining a project they get to do.
It's good for them. They need that time to "relax", take a break from the normal school work and create. Even for me, I wish there was more time to think and let my creativity flow. Most days are just go-go-go and there isn't much time to sit, reflect, and create.
Our oldest daughter is in 5th grade and they are doing a market today. All 5th graders had to create a product (friendship bracelets, cake pops, bookmarks, picture frames, etc) to "sell" to the school, make a display, and decide how much to "sell" their product for. Over the last couple weeks, 5th graders have been earning "cash" that they will get to spend on other products they like. The more they sell, the more "money" they will have to spend on other items.
Do you take time to sit, reflect, and think?
Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous weekend!
