Winter Floral Dress Perfect for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a week away!  What will you be wearing?  How about this gorgeous Winter floral dress?!

I can't believe this time next week we will all be feeling the bloat of having just pigged out on tons of turkey and carbs and pies!!! Oh my!  I can't wait!

For the past 7 years we've gone to Hilton Head for Thanksgiving.  We rent a big house on the beach, all the family comes, and it's a wonderful week.  The weather is usually perfect, mid 60s-70s, no humidity, and it's not crowded like in the Summer months.  We love it and it's become our tradition.  This year however, we are headed North, to Ohio, to Katey's house.  My husband is going to the Ohio State-Michigan game (huge if you're a Buckeye fan) that is the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  So we thought we'd break tradition this year and spend the Holiday with Katey and her family up there.  It's not the beach but I am so excited to spend time with them.  It's hard living 8 hours away!

For Thanksgiving, I like to be comfortable but still cute!  This floral dress is what I'll be wearing.  We aren't a family that gets over-the-top dressy.  But we do like to be a step above your day-to-day casual look.  I love this dress for that reason.  It's easy to wear, cute and you can add accessories to dress it up or down.  I'm wearing it with my new favorite boots, but how cute would it be with tights and booties?! And adding a scarf or suede jacket warms it up!

What are your Thanksgiving plans this year?
Happy Friday!
