Every Spring and Summer seersucker makes it's appearance. It's iconic in the South, seen at any wedding, event or brunch for it's breathability.
Even before I moved to the South, I was a fan of seersucker. Growing up in Ohio, we really didn't see too much of the fabric. But my grandmother who lived in Kentucky, had a closet-full!! I can remember her skirts and dresses with their simple thin stripes and pretty colors. Seersucker definitely has a preppy vibe to it, but I love the girly looks to it as well.
Now that I live in the South, I have embraced the seersucker trend with open arms. This dress from Lauren James is one of my favorites to date! It fits amazing, is super flattering and it has the cutest self tie-back! Oh, and pockets! The dress comes in 5 stripe colors and 6 solid colors.
Lauren James has more than just lovely seersucker dresses. How adorable is this OTS top? This gingham skirt is so sweet! I love this simple cotton dress for any day of the week! I have a couple of their tees and love them, super soft!!
Are you going to a Derby party this year? This dress paired with a fun hat, would be the perfect look! I couldn't decide which hat I liked best, so help me decide!!
