2 Items your Fall wardrobe Needs

One of my top favorite trends for Fall is utility.  I'm so excited to be partnering with Nordstrom to share my go-to utility pieces.   These are the pieces I wear the most through Fall and into Winter.

Hands down the most worn item in my closet for Fall is a utility jacket.  Seriously - you can wear it over anything!!  A classic shift dress, an everyday tee, a girly peplum tank (like I did), and even a Fall v-neck sweater.  It is so versatile and will add instant chic and an edge to any outfit!  I'm partial to these sleeves that can be worn down or tied up because I love the look of a long sleeve tee or sweater hanging out of the jacket.  The streamlined, sleek look of this jacket from Caslon is right on trend for Fall.  Caslon is an exclusive brand specific to Nordstrom.  This line is full of easy, wearable essentials that are affordable.  Most items in this Caslon brand are under $100.

When it's a cool 60 degrees outside and you're wondering what to wear - definitely go with a utility jacket!  I kept my look classic with dark skinny jeans and the best ankle strap sandal.

Another must-have Fall staple for me is the utility vest.  I have a few and rotate them all the time.  A couple different olive green styles and my new favorite is this gorgeous grey vest.
You know when you get dressed and then think to yourself that the outfit is missing something?  That's the time when a vest works perfectly!

I wear these vests to work often.  They are the perfect layer to wear inside.  As an Assistant Director of a preschool, I'm busy and moving all day and like to have my arms free.
