Brown Flute Sleeve Sweater

If you haven't already started your Fall shopping, now is a good time to start.  This flute sleeve sweater is currently part of a BOGO 50% off sale.

By this time in August, I'm bored with my Summer wardrobe and ready to start adding some Fall pieces and colors.  But the NC heat is not on my side.  Seriously, it's still in the 90s.  So when I think about dressing for Fall and transitioning my closet, I like to start with simple pieces, like lightweight sweaters.  I love the look of sweaters with jeans shorts.

This sweater is one I saw online and thought, 'that's cute, i'll try it'.  But was really unsure how the flute sleeves would look on.  I was actually surprised with how much I love it.  The color is a gorgeous Fall color, it's a super soft thin sweater and the sleeves are fun without being too crazy big and in the way.  It also comes in 3 other colors and is currently on sale.
The combo of shorts and sweaters look adorable with booties, but because of the heat, I decided on a fun pair of leopard slides.  This exact pair is sold out, but I'm loving this pair, that is actually more appropriate for Fall.  Leopard is the perfect print for Fall, and small touches of it, like shoes or bags, are an easy way to up your look.

So what are your plans for watching the Eclipse of 2017?  I finally got eclipse glasses this morning from a neighbor who had extra and the kids are so excited to now be able to 'look' at the sun!!

Have a great Monday!
