Railroad Stripes Utility Jacket + 3 Random Thoughts

So we are back at Monday!  Geez, how the weekends fly by.  Ours was wet and rainy, so it ended up being pretty low-key.  I wore this look on Friday, before all the rain hit, and it was a great early Spring look.
This location is in our little downtown area.  A lot of the old homes in the downtown strip have been turned into small businesses.  Like this house.  I’ve passed this hot pink door so many times and it always catches my eye!  So I did what any good blogger does, I stopped to get a pic in front of it!!  We’ve been blogging for 3 years now, crazy!  And it still can be embarrassing and awkward to get pictures when people around and watching.  I thought we could ‘sneak’ onto the porch and get a few pics really quick and no one would know!  Nope.  Half way thru, I saw a woman smile and wave out the window.  I’m sure she was wondering why someone would be taking pictures in front of a door.  So we hurried and finished and practically ran to the car 🙂
I have talked about these pants so much on Instagram, but I really do love them.  I have them in both olive green and black, and if they come out with more colors, I’ll probably get those too!!  I am wearing my normal size, but in petite, for an ankle length fit.
This jacket!!  It actually feels more like a thicker shirt.  It’s just the right amount for warm Spring days.  I love how it cinches at the waist so you can make it as fitted as you’d like.  And it’s only $30!! I’m wearing an XS.

1. Probably my most worn sandal last Spring and Summer was the super popular Marc Fisher wedges  in the cognac color.  I want to get a new lighter pair for this year, but can’t decide on the style.  I’m deciding between the style I currently have but in a lighter color, this crossover style or this double strap style.  What do you think?
2.  So the Winter Olympics are on and I’m usually a huge Olympic watcher.  But I’ve only watched a few minutes here and there of them.  I guess I’m more of a Summer Olympics girl.  I did watch the men’s snowboarding which was exciting, but I can’t seem to get into the figure skating.  Have you been watching?
3.  The jacket I’m wearing in this post is from Target’s new Universal Thread line.  It’s a really good collection.  It reminds me of Madewell but better prices.  I’ve rounded up some of my favorites below.  Have you shopped the collection yet?
Happy Monday

Cute Target jacket. I've actually been enjoying the figure skating a lot. Maybe it's because it's the team events right now? Maybe you like the individual stuff better.
