An easy Fall outfit

Who else is ready to welcome October tomorrow?

I can't believe how fast this month, heck, this year, has gone!!  It's now officially Fall and I absolutely love this time of year!  Besides the obvious love of pumpkins, mums, apple picking and cooler weather...I love Fall clothes.

My daughter and I were on the hunt for a gift for her friend's birthday party the other day.  Something besides just a gift card.  Which is probably the easiest for a teenager, but I still think teens love to open an actual present and not just a gift card!!  We always seem to wait to the last minute to go on these gift hunts.  Why do I do that to myself?!  Talk about stressful!!

We ended up at Cameron Village in Raleigh because they have so many cute and unique shops and knew we'd be able to find something there!!  We did!!  And I think she'll love it!

While there, I went into a couple of my favorite boutiques.  See how I planned that???

Of course I found things I loved!  I almost always do.

To start with, this one shoulder sweater from Kannon's Clothing is adorable!!!  I love this style and it's lightweight for these early and still warm Fall days!!  It has a ribbed texture which I also really like!  And you know my love for distressed jeans is real, so when I saw a pair of distressed cropped jeans, I instantly had to try them on!!  They actually fit great, which can be a hard find since I'm only 5'3"!!  I love these light washed jeans for Fall.  I know they'll look great paired with all of Fall's oranges, browns and yellows!!  And I also have to mention this bag I found at Kannon's Clothing too.  They carry so many different bags and clutches, but I love Hammitt bags and this crossbody style is just so pretty for Fall!!

Right across the street from Kannon's is Ivy & Leo...a cute boutique filled with thermals, cozy sweaters, and tons of darling jewelry!!  That's where I found this pretty layered moon and stars necklace.  The trio layered necklaces are really big right now and an easy way to add a little glam to a look!!  Be sure to stop in Ivy & Leo when you're out at Cameron Village!!
