Seven on Saturday

Happy Halloween!  Enjoy your weekend!

1. My husband bought me these Chaturanga Tights a couple weeks ago.  I've worn them a few times this past week alone (running errands, trick-or-treating, and to the gym).  The subtle print, brushed softness, and tightness is perfect!!

2. If you are looking to make a statement with your jewelry this Holiday season, these earrings are perfect!

3.  I'm drooling over this faux fur infinity scarf.  It's perfect for the winter and upcoming holiday parties!

4. After the kids trick-or-treat and you're swimming in candy, here are some great ideas of what to do with it!

5.  How beautiful are the MAC Enchanted Eve and the Irresistibly Charming holiday sets?  I pre-ordered 2, the eyeshadow palette and the mini lipgloss set.

6. We just put the flannel sheets on our bed this week.  It's been so warm and cozy.  How cute are these and these?

7.  Did you catch Betsy's post yesterday?  She shared these loafers.  Are you a fan of pink and tassels?  How about these loafers!!? These are a gorgeous neutral.

Suede Loafers

Burgandy suede loafers are my new thing!!

I love my booties in the Fall/Winter, but change is good, right?!  These suede loafers really change the look of an outfit and add a great pop of color.  They are super comfy and come in 2 other colors.  But order 1/2 size smaller, they run big.

We are lucky to have my parents live close by us in a great golf community.  A large group of their neighbors live (or die!) for Halloween!  So they decided to make a hayride that takes you through a haunted trail.  The trail runs through the woods on the edge of their golf course.  They spent months building it and planning it.  And it's amazing!  We went last night.  It's better than some of the haunted houses I went through as a teen.  The hayride is 30 minutes of spooks and scares, a haunted cemetery, a witches house, torture chambers, ghosts and goblins, clowns, and chainsaw murders!!  So fun.  It was a great way to kick off the Halloween weekend.

Have you been to a haunted house yet this year?

Marled Cardigan

Neutrals for a perfect cozy Fall look.

I found this marled sweater at Nordstrom the other day and I'm so happy I bought it.  It's under $50 and comes in 4 other colors.  I love the texture of it and the longer length.

This look is so me for the Fall.  Do you have a go-to look you know will always work?  For on those days when nothing is jumping out at you to wear?  I wonder how many hours I spend a year just staring at my clothes wondering what to put on!  Thinking 'I have nothing to wear!'  It's a real problem.  Even my 12 year old daughter has started this.  Dressing for middle school is tough though!!  But a combo of my favorite booties , my favorite jeans and a comfy top always works.  It's nothing fancy but I feel confident and relaxed in it.

I was just talking with a friend yesterday about my style.  It's a mix of styles for sure and it defiantly depends on my mood that day, but it always has to be something I feel comfortable in!

Plaid Shirtdress

From Fall through the Holidays, I can't get enough of flannel plaids.

This shirtdress from Forever 21 immediately caught my eye.  Fun tip: the dress actually came belted but I didn't like how it looked.  So I took the belt off and tied it into a bow around my neck.
Voila!  Instant update!

Last night we attended the children's Halloween party at our Country Club.  It was adorable!!  Our oldest dressed up as the color pink, our son was an Ohio State Football player, and our littlest was Sophia the First (TV Character).  They ate, watched a magician, danced, ran around with friends and had lots of laughs and giggles.

Sweater Dresses + Link Up

Sweater weather is here and what could be cuter than a sweater dress!

We are quite picky when it comes to sweater dresses.  Not too tight and not itchy.  These dresses are so soft and comfortable!

We got to spend this past weekend together with our families.  My little 3 year old can't get enough of her Aunt Betsy!  She was attached to her the whole weekend calling her "My other Mommy".  Needless to say, Aunt Betsy spoils her.  The older kids had fun exploring The Greenbrier and hanging out together.
It was a fun time and we were so glad to get pictures together.  It is something we have been wanting to do for some time, but had trouble getting it done because of our busy schedules and the distance between us (we live 8 hrs apart).  We plan to do more pictures together soon.
