Yellow is the color of Summer + Favorite Guacamole Recipe

Give me all things bright for Summer!  I can't seem to get enough of this bold yellow.  Oh - and it has the cutest little pom pom detail.

Truth be told - my husband was actually who found this breezy top.  Every now and then, he likes to try and shop for me.  He immediately said that I needed to order it.  So glad I listened.  LOL!  It's light, breezy, and I love how the shoulder straps can be worn up on your shoulder or down depending on what your mood is.  I've worn this more dressed up with heels but also love how cute and casual it can look with cut-offs for a Summer day.

These are my favorite cut-off shorts!  They are a perfect in-between length.  They are a little more distressed so I've also linked the same style short with less distressing.  These do stretch a little as you wear them which I love.  Comfortable shorts are a must for me during Summer.  No one wants tight and hot!

Do you follow along with us on Instagram (@twopeasinablog)? We share a lot of everyday looks that don't always get shown on here.  Anyway - on our InstaStory yesterday I was making my favorite quacamole recipe.  I got this recipe from a friend of ours a couple years ago.  It seriously is so good!  There is a secret ingredient.
(And Betsy shared a fabulous gingham tank she found while out shopping yesterday that was only $23.)

Anyway - the secret ingredient is feta cheese!  Here's what I use in my quacamole:
Salsa (a spoonful or two depending on how many avacados)
Cilantro (love!)
Feta Cheese (a lot)
Salt & Pepper
Lime Juice (if you have it)
Garlic Salt

Mix and eat!  It doesn't last long!
