When I think Holiday party dress, I usually think of velvet first. This rich and luxurious fabric is one of the best for the Holiday season. And one of my favorites!!

As soon as I saw it in Uniquities, I headed to the dressing room to try it on! All velvets are soft, but this dress has to be the softest in the bunch. And the deep navy blue is a great change up from the usual black that we all gravitate towards for in a party dress. The fit of this dress with it’s cap sleeves and ruffle detail make it so flattering. Can you tell how much I love it?!
Think outside the box when styling this velvet dress, or any others this Holiday season. How about layering this sherpa coat over it for the cold weather? Gorgeous!! Or add patterned tights for fun with a great trendy bootie!!!
