Our Stay at The Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina

Betsy and I decided to meet for a warm-weather weekend getaway, to get away from the cold and gloom I’m having up in Ohio.  Totally ready for some Spring weather here.

Charleston is a favorite city of ours so we decided to meet there.  It was a quick flight for me and a short 4 hr. drive for Betsy from Raleigh.  We were so excited to find the Charleston Harbor Resort.  A relaxed, resort with high-end amenities, just across the harbor from bustling downtown Charleston.  The best of both worlds.

The lobby is warm and welcoming and the bright, vibrant colors give it a true Southern feeling.

There are 2 pools and a hot tub at the resort.

Large pools, palm trees, cabanas and all overlooking the marina.  Couldn’t you just lay here soaking up the sun for hours!?  We did just that our first afternoon!!

The hard wood floors are such a nice touch and really elevate this resort.  So much better than carpeting.

A huge, roomy bathroom that is so luxurious!
This was the view from our room balcony.  We were lucky to get an amazing view of the sunset every night.
Just beyond the water is downtown Charleston.  It’s an easy 10 min. car ride from the resort.  We went over one day for breakfast and an afternoon of shopping.  And then another day for dinner.   The Charleston Harbor Resort has a bar, an outside cabana by the pool (that serves drinks and food during their peak season) and a wonderful restaurant, The Fish House.  The Fish House offers a seasonal menu of seafood and land options.  It’s delicious and we ate most of our meals there!  It too overlooks the water and the Charleston skyline.

Be sure to check out their website for all details.  There are 2 locations on the property – The Beach Club (where we stayed) and Harborside.

I'm sure you've heard many arguments whether or not a Realtor is better at selling your home than you are. Every Realtor, without fail, will tell you that they can sell your home faster and for more money than you can.  Daniels Island SC
